Professor M. Zahid Hasan, the inventor of the weightless particle' Vail Fermion'. About 85 years ago today, in 1929, the scientist Hermann Weil' first reported the existence of this elusive particle called 'Vail Fermion", which was named after him. Since 1929, all the world's leading physicists have been trying to prove the existence of "Vail Fermion'.

Finally, exactly 85 years later, one of the Physicists of Bangladesh, Zahid Hasan Tapas, a professor of physics at Princeton University in the United States, discovered this 'vile fermion' particle. Zahid Hasan Tapas has reached this success after a long period of research.

Ninety-one years after Indian Bengali physicist Satyendranath Bose discovered a particle called 'Boson', a new group of particles discovered under the leadership of another Bengali Dr Zahid, which after its discovery will not only change theoretical physics but will bring revolutionary changes in the electronic and computer world. Recently, the news of the research team's success led by Dr Zahid Hasan and the evidence of the discovery of the Vail Fermion particle publishes in detail in the American science magazine 'Science'.

Professor M. Zahid Hasan is the son of a noble family in Sreepur Upazila, Bangladesh. His father was six times elected Member of Parliament Advocate Md. Rahmat Ali and mother Manadira Ali Talukdar. He was born on Dhaka's Central Road on May 22, 1980. Adv. Md. Rahamat Ali said, "One day after the country became independent, I went to Bangabandhu with my infant son. Bangabandhu caressed Tapas, took him in his arms, and said, "This son will grow up one day, and endless blessings for him. He said, "What could be more proud of a child's success than a father's defeat?" Mr. Taposh passed SSC from Dhanmondi Government Boys High School in 1986. In SSC, he was second in the combined merit list of four education boards. In 1986, he passed the HSC from Dhaka College, winning first place in the combined merit list of four education boards and was admitted to Dhaka University in mathematics.
Although Mr. Zahid admitted to Dhaka University with many dreams, he did not take classes for long. Because at that time his real dream was going to be true. He took classes at Dhaka University for only four days. In the same year, he went to the United States with a scholarship to fulfill his dream. Attended the University of Texas at Austin in Physics. And due to his studies at this university, he had the opportunity to learn from the Nobel laureate theoretical physicist Stephen Wein Varg. Then went to Stanford University to do Masters's and Ph.D.
Since then, his name has started spreading in the world of physics. Moreover, from that time, he never looked back. He has worked with numerous famous and Nobel-laureate physicists. In the meantime, he went to Princeton University as a special guest to give a lecture. All the audience, including university authorities, were impressed by his lecture. On that day came the offer to join Princeton University as a teacher.
Furthermore, he used that opportunity. He joined Princeton University as a lecturer. After completing his PhD in 2012, he also taught at the University of Einstein, Niels Bohr, Oppenheimer. He also taught at the University of California for some time. Twenty students got PhD degrees under him.
Since 1998, he has lectured in at least 250 international seminars in at least 100 countries. He regularly lectures in various international seminars in Sweden, France, India, Italy, Japan, China, Europe, America, and other countries. Dr Zahid has also had the opportunity to work at the world-famous laboratory CERN (CERN), Lawrence Berkeley, Brookhaven National Lab. He is affiliated with King Abdulaziz University of Saudi Arabia. He is also associated with the North-South University of Bangladesh.
He quoted that Scientist Satyendranath Basu said those who speak Bengali can not become a scientist; they either do not know Bengali or do not understand science. Zahid Hasan Tapas heard this saying of Satyendranath Basu from a class teacher when he was young. Zahid became increasingly passionate towards science.
He started playing with science in childhood. In 1986, at 16, Zahid Hasan Tapas wrote a science book titled 'Eso Dhumketur Rajjy'. At that time, the book received a great response. Abdullah Al-Muti Sharfuddi, a pioneer of scientific literature in Bengali, praised the book after reading it. He blessed, 'You will be very big.'
Professor M. Zahid Hasan said, as a nation, I ask everyone to think. This nation has many possibilities. Proper care, training, and facilitation of the youth will produce not one but thousands of such scientists.
In 2012, Serge Harosh of France and David Weinland of the United States were awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics to discover the method of measuring the pure quantum state of the basic unit of light (photons). Compared with the content of their discovery, The world media is not ruling out the possibility of Zahid Hasan Tapas receiving the Nobel.
Mr.Zahid is also forever indebted to his mother, Nadira Ali Talukder, for instilling his interest in science. He said his mother always made Zahid interested in science. He used to pay for various books among the three brothers and sisters. Zahid Hasan tapas first. The second is Advocate Jamil, Hasan Durjoy. Moreover, the only sister is Professor Romana Ali Tusi.
The teacher used to teach math in the class according to one rule. Child Zahid Hasan Tapas wanted more than the number of rules taught by the teacher. He used to discover new rules of numbers himself. He used to do the same numbers in a few rules and show them in class the next day. The teachers were not only surprised to see the talent of Shishu Tapas but also learned the technique of finding out new rules of numbers from him. The teachers then said that this remarkable boy would one day conquer the world. The words of the teachers came true.
That Zahid Hasan Vail Fermion of Bangladeshi origin has caused a stir worldwide by discovering its existence. The media of almost all countries are talking about his discovery.

Zahid's wife, Sarah, is an equally brilliant MIT-educated engineer who works for Microsoft. They have two adorable children: Arik Ibrahim Hasan (13) and Sarina Maryam Hasan (11).
Iran's Mustafa (PBUH) Award: The award announced in 2015 in the name of Prophet Mustafa (PBUH) is the Nobel of the Muslim world. At the 2021 Mustafa Prize ceremony held at Tehran's Wahdat Hall on Thursday, October 21, five Muslim scientists were awarded as winners of the 4th edition of the Mustafa Prize. Zahid Hassan is a Bangladeshi professor at Princeton University who won the Mustafa Prize for "Well Fermion Semimetals". Hassan said in his acceptance speech, "This achievement results from my more than 15 years of research.
