From Ancient To Present

​My city an old historical place cherished for many centuries. This region has been ruled by Pals, Das, Chedi, Chandal etc. since ancient times. Even more ancient, about two thousand two hundred years ago  There is evidence that the kingdom of Maurya emperor Ashoka was established.

During the rule of Gazi and Bhawals from the 14th to the 19th century, the region's prestige became incredible and it was unrivaled in arms or on the battlefield. After that, the language movement played a significant role and my city played a heroic role in various movements and struggles during the British and Pakistan period in the early nineteenth century. March 19  The war of independence started from this district town with the first armed resistance against the Pak army and Bangladesh became independent after a long 9 month bloody war.

My present day district town is full of immense potential for its combination of history and heritage. The area is rich in deep forests and beautiful landscapes, forests, rivers, lakes, historical places, recreation centers, shopping centers, large playgrounds and children's parks. All modern treatments are readily available here. National and international universities are the pride of this city. Digital education and  Technology is now in schools, colleges and all kinds of institutions.
