Bhawal dynasty after Gazi

After the death of Daulat Gazi, the last Muslim Zamindar of Gazi's Empire, in 1738, Naib Balram Rai bought the Zamindari from Nawab Sujauddin of Murshidabad at auction. And from here the Bhawal dynasty starts after Gazi's ancestry. Let us know briefly how much this Zamindari influenced the Bhawal Raj dynasty following their family tree and what happened when.

Balram Roy: In 1738, Naib Balram of Daulatgazi, with the help of two more bureaucrats, bought the Bhawal Zamindari at auction:


Balaram Roy = 7

Birendra Roy of Gacha = 7

Nishikanta of Palasona = 2

16 Anna


And this marks the start of Balaram Ray's Bhawal Zamindari.

Sri Krishna Roy: Srikrishna purchased 2 annas from Nishikanta Ghose of Palashona and converted it into 9 annas of his own zamindari. At that time he changed the name of Pirabari to Joydevpur in accordance with his own name. He died about 1757.


Uday Narayan+Kirti Narayan: Uday Narayan+Kirti Narayan uncle and nephew run Zamindari together. Here too Udaya Narayan died shortly after leaving behind a minor son. The year after Uday Narayan's death Uncle Kirti Narayan also died leaving 3 sons. Shortly after the death of Kirti Narayan, Uday Narayan's minor son Raj Narayan also died. As a result, Narayan, the youngest of Kirti Narayan's three sons, got Narayan Zamindari in 1789.


Lok Narayan: The name of the wife of the wise man Narayan was Siddheswari. During the Great Famine of 78, several Kochs and dynasties from Kochbihar in the north allowed the tribes to live and made much barren jungle suitable for agricultural work. When Kali Kishore, the zamindar of Gacha's then-zamindar clan, was saddled with debt, he sold out 7 percent of Bhawal's zamindari to an indigo grower, Mr. Wisem. As a result of this, the extreme dispute over the boundary was settled by Rani Siddheshwari with prudence. Along with defending the zamindari, he left much wealth for his son Golak Narayan and grandson Kali Narayan. Queen Siddheswari died in 1844. Siddheswari of Dhaka in the name of Rani Siddheswari. The Rajarbagh area was also named after Raja Kali Narayan.


Kali Narayan: When Golak Narayan died in 1857, his son Kali Narayan became a zamindar at 46. The palace was built during his time. In 1873, the poet Govindadas used to work as a revenue officer in this royal court.


Rajendra Narayan: Rajendra Narayan got Zamindari in 1877 after his father's death. Rani Bilas Moni is his wife. Kaliganj Bazar (now Sadar Thana) is named after his father, and Rajendrapur Bazar is named after him. He died in 1901, leaving three sons and two daughters in the womb of Rani Bilas Moni.


Ramendra Narayan: The Bhawal Sannyasi Raja was the last king of this Zamindar dynasty.
